I've just started using speak screen on my iPad air iOS 8.1.3 and I found that I could not get the two finger double tap to work to turn off the speaking voice. Then I tried asking Siri to turn off speak screen and she just told me there was nothing to read. Are these bugs? On 25 Feb 2015

Hi guys. One time I used the speak screen feature and I noticed that it actually treats it as if you were listening to music. That means while it's reading, you can do a two finger double tap to toggle reading. I found this out when I was reading an email on my phone. I was getting tired

-finger swipe down. Just as three-finger swipes act differently in the Status Bar, so does this command - it starts Speak Screen. I believe it will also work with headphone remotes, though I haven't tested this personally yet. Another thing I am pretty sure will work is using a braille display
