I just purchased the unit that charges multiple items at once via USB and AC
outlets. This is probably a stupid question, but I can't get it to fit into
any of my outlets. It looks like the prongs are too thick or something. I
don't have problems plugging other things into my outlets.

The prongs of the plug are protected with a plastic cover which is why
they seem to thick. Just pull the cover off of the prongs and you will
be good to go. HTH
