When I attempted to sign up for the Spotify free service, I was unable
to complete the application, I think. I say that because though the
email and password and gender fields were straight forward, I apparently
encountered a problem when entering or attempting to enter the date of
birth. The example was January 18, 2014 . So I entered my date of
birth using exactly the same format. When I clicked the done button, I
got a message "sorry, you do not meet Spotify's age requirement." No
problem, I thought. So I changed the date to make myself forty years
younger. You guessed it! Same message.
Does anyone have ideas to get around this. If indeed I am too old for
the service, it won't hurt my ego, but I would like assurance that at
least I entered the data correctly.
