sometimes when I'm tagging someone on Facebook, and the person's name
doesn't come up by typing in the first name, I'll type the last name, and
that usually will bring up the correct person. Just a suggestion to try, if
you already haven't tried it.

It's the @ (shift 2) then the person's name.
