the microphone on my 5 was. My only question is whether the trim feature is

When I attempted to trim a file, I didn't get any VO feedback when pressing and
holding to move the sliders other than it saying 0. That's been my experience.

The buttons sound like they are clearly labeled to me. The problem is that when
editing a file, removing the unwanted space at the start and end of the
recording is no longer working for VO users. I don't know about sighted users.

I don't think you are using the same app, as this is fully accessible. I'm
talking about the stock Voice Memos app, that comes with iOS devices by
default. I've never found any unlabeled buttons or other accessibility problems
in it, with the possible exception of this trimming thing.

Trimming does indeed appear to be inaccessible.
I also found that the 2 finger double-tap functions differently It used to
start and pause recording and, if performed again, resume recording again. Now
it seems to just start playback.
Not sure if it's a bug but sure liked it better before.
The buttons are not labeled in my app, using IOS 7.

up; then I was able to interact with where I was in the display.
