recently I tried to complete an online survey, about accessibility would you
believe, and came across a problem when trying to respond a text entry box. I
got the usual text edit prompt but it was followed by something like ‘object
replacement’. When I attempt to type there is no longer

Yes, I had to turn on my speech to confirm this, but it is indeed
happening here as well.

I have my settings set to no feedback for both software and hardware keyboards.
For some reason it still repeating the characters once I type them. I switched
to both of them to something else, then switched it back, then rebooted the

Yes, it’s been reported, so Apple knows about it. Now the next step is just to
be patient and wait for an update.
