As of the 28th of June 2012, any UPGRADE on VZW will ELIMINATE unlimited data.
If you want to KEEP your UNLIMITED DATA, you will
have to purchase SMART PHONES @ their full retail price or unsubsidized price.

It's official. I spoke with a Verizon rep who confirmed what Kimberly
reported. I also kept my unlimited plan when I got the 4S, but that will end
with the 5.

I know when my son used an upgrade to trade in his Android for a 4s, he kept
the unlimited data plan that we are on. The only phone line that isn't on
unlimited data was a new one we added to the account for his fiancé.
