Now that Applause is forcing people who bought VoiceDream Reader to subscribe, I'm looking for good alternatives. Free would be nice, of course, but I'm potentially willing to pay, so long as it's not a subscription. I've tried Speechify, which I liked, but the speech was much too slow. -- The
