A little confusing? All of it so far is like reading Greek to me, a neophyte
at music that is not already on my computer or phone.

Hi,
Just wondering what will happen to iTunes Match once Apple Music is released.
I suppose once you've matched all you want from your personal music and saved
the matched plus purchased music, and it's saved to your own storage, there's
not much point in continuing to subscribe to iTunes
iTunes Match will be replaced by the My Music feature of Apple Music. This is
where all your matched items will be found. Not only that; you will also be
able to stream any song or album you like from the iTunes Store which they call
Apple Music library.

So if this is the case, will one still be able to digitize their LPS, upload it

Hi. Actually, that's not true. You'll still need iTunes match if you have LPs
or anything that you did not purchase from the iTunes store if you want to save
them in the cloud. They make it seem a little confusing at first, so hopefully
the clarify things once Apple music is released at the end
Hi,
So, if I understand your post, iMatch will still be available? I don't have it,
but I'm wondering if I should subscribe to it before Apple Music is launched.
Thanks.

Yes, I would subscribe to it before they launch Apple music. I honestly wish
they would bundle Apple music into an iTunes match subscription price, since it
only comes out to around two or three dollars a month. Like I said before
though, hopefully will get more clarification on what does or
Apple has already made it clear iTunes Match is not going anywhere, for good
reason.
I have a lot of material uploaded to iTunes Match that Apple Music won't have.
For a start, everything the Beatles recorded officially, and a lot that has
never officially been released.
I also have a lot of
