I play the spelling bee regularly and don’t use Screen Recognition. I do set
VoiceOver not to navigate to images. Then I can flick between the letters and
double-tap to enter them, then double-tap Enter.

I just found out that Wordle is accessible in The NYTimes app, and a friend is
using it with safari. A browser add-on or bookmarklet used to be necessary, but
it isn’t now. In the app, the tutorial still isn’t fully accessible, but the
game is.
