Hi list
So, I've created a social folder in my IPhone that has 12 items. When I try
and put another app in this folder the phone refuses it. Is there some sort
of limit of how many apps a folder can hold?
Thanks,
Sabrina

Hi there. Yes, there is a limit of 12 apps for the iphone and 16 for the ipad.
I have had to create extra folders and add a 2 at the end of the second heading
on my phone.

Yes, the limit is 12 with the current iPhone. I would not be surprised if the
limit becomes 16 for the iPhone 5 since the iPhone 5 will have another row of
apps added to each page.

Hi Andy,
While in the folder, you need to put focus on the app and then activate the
editing mode. Which in the current version of iOS 11 means, double tap and
holding the app to start the editing mode, then you flick up or down till you
hear drag, and follow the normal procedure that you would
But if I hit the home button to leave the folder that the app is in, that would
close the editing session, wouldn't it?
