hey, if you end up marketing them, let me in on it (I did, after all, suggest
the idea). Call them Braille Cozy's. :)

Hey, that's an absolutely fantastic idea! And you could probably make it even
better by sewing it to fit over the entire unit like a shower cap, so nothing
gets dirty--not just the Braille cells. My sister- in-law sews; maybe I'll ask
her to whip me up some covers for my BrailleNote PK, BrailleS
the Braille Sense U2 has a removable battery pack. It's lithium Ion and those
things have a pretty long shelf life, but after 5 years, they are starting to
wear thin. I could also probably take the battery module over to Batteries Plus
and have them rebuild it. That will cost about $80 or so.
Hi Eden don't wory about it I just didn't know if you knew it was happening.

I use my braille sense with a silk cover over the unit. I can read the braille
through the silk. This does 2 things:
1. keeps the cells clean
2. keeps my fingers off the dots (no chance of them getting dirty).
The silk cover can be cleaned with woolite or even dawn dish soap. I have had

Yes, you must must wash your hands a lot. I probably wash my hands 10 to 20 a

I think every display gets problems with its cells after a few years. They

The only thing at this point I wish the Orbit 20 had is 40 cells... After
