I guess Gutemberg project uses the so-called "social DRM", out of
copyright protection.
For this kind of ebooks the Apple free downloadable app "Ibooks"
could be suitable enough, but only in case of simple contents books,
I mean especially novels and litterature books in general.
The free book reader iBooks by Apple can read them and the app is very
accessible.
