Hi. Amazon sells a great number of USB car chargers. I have one made by
Anker with 2 USB ports and it can charge an iPad or other tablet. So a phone
is no problem.

Sorry if I missed this answer, but I just use a DC to USB adapter that
plugs into a car's cigarette lighter or power port and has a USB
connection on it. I just plug my iPhone into this with the USB cable
that comes with an iPhone. You can get these anywhere; they don't cost

These are a common item however, you only get what you pay fore. Some can
protect your device, some do a better job and some offer no protection at
all. My wife bought me a good one made by Apple for devices. Thi

Also I think some cars nowadays have usb ports that can be used to plug
a usb cable into to charge stuff, but a car charger is probably your
best bet.
