Hi there, I got my 5 s phone and did the finger print ID. It worked just
fine until today. It did not recognize my print and I had to redue the
finger. Has anyone had this experience?Kathy and Seeing Eye dog Wilda

Hi Kathy,
I've not had the issue that you were describing on my 5S. I've been using the
fingerprint reader ever since I got it and it is been 100% reliable and I
really like this feature. I hope that you're able to get yours sorted out.

My Brother has been having this same problem.

This morning I started experiencing the same issue. I will keep an eye on it
and if it keeps occurring, I will return it to Apple. I took some lens cleaner
and sprayed it on a tissue and cleaned the iPhone screen. Hopefully, that will
help.

My iphone 5S recognises my fingerprint to unlock phone but to purchase apps
from iTunes Store, sometimes it asks for finger sometimes password - puzzling!

sure to have my thumb both sideways and straight on. It is more natural for me
to hold my phone with one hand and use my thumb at more of an angle to unlock
it.
If I could tack on a question here:
Has anyone successful

I had to redo my print the other day.
You can successfully rename your fingerprint(s). Look for the edit button
in the top left-hand corner and click on it. This will put you into edit
