I have an alphanumeric password to get on to my router. Questions are these if
using the phone to
enter the password how do I get to the numbers and does VO announce the
characters or does it say
something like star to protect the password? The standard overlay has shipped.
When I have that

Even when you're typing a password, VO speaks the letters and numbers so you'll
know what you're entering. In the bottom left corner of the screen is a button
called More: numbers that brings up the numbers and punctuation. Tap it again
(it will now be called More: Lettters,) to get
VO announces the character when you first touch it, then makes a click noise
when the character is entered.
Activate the more numbers button below shift button to bring up numbers and
punctuation keyboard.
