Is there any way to turn off iCloud backups on my 6S+? I only use it for a book

Hello,
If you use OneDrive, you have an option in OneDrive to send your photos
automatically in OneDrive. It's easiest to copy on computer

I did turn off photos in iCloud and also turned the apps off that were using
iCloud that I didn't want to use right now. I did upload some photos to my
dropbox but I couldn't figure out how to get all the videos there that I wanted
to keep. Any suggestions about that, would be grately
Hi Shirley,
You can get 50 GB of space on iCloud for a dollar a month, so that may be the
easiest option. Otherwise, you can turn off Photos in your iCloud settings.
That will stop them being stored in iCloud. There's also an iCloud Storage
setting that lets you see how much data different
I got a email from iCloud that I only have so much storage left and I have 30
days to move my photos so I need to know how to do that and how do I delete
backups? Are they dated? How do you know for sure you're deleting the oldest
ones and not the most recent ones please.

Hi Vicki,
The files you can see in iCloud Drive are things like documents you have saved
in Pages and Voice Dream Writer. There's no way to see iCloud backups or access
the data in those backups. If you go to Settings, choose iCloud, and then
choose Manage Storage, you can see which devices
I am using IOS 10.3.3 on my mini IPad II.
I have ICloud drive turned on. Shouldn't I be able to access it on the IPad to
see my files and backups, and if so, how?
Do I need to activate it in ITunes on the PC and will an icon show up on my
desktop and on my home screen on the IPAD?
Right now I
To those of you with one or more devices backed up on ICloud, how are the
backups sorted out? Do you only see the ones for your particular device on that
device or does ICloud show you everything that is backed up for all your
devices at once?

It seems to me that I once read on the list that there is a way to delete some
of the older backups from ICloud. I am getting warnings that I am running out
of storage and I really don’t want to use ICloud Drive. So if I could get rid
of some old backups, this should free up some space for me.
Happy Thanksgiving to all,
I am trying to get an iCloud backup for my friend’s 4s; iCloud keeps asking me
to put in his password, and it keeps saying backup is incomplete.
What is going on; what settings should I look at?
Thanks.

It showed iCloud backup off. So when I select on, with contacts it says
contacts will be merged with iCloud; that is another way of just saying they
will be backed up, isn’t it?
Also he never upgraded past IOS 6 I

In the old App Switcher, I think you could double tap the home button to
bring up the App Switcher and then do a double tap and hold on any icon
to get into edit mode. Once in edit mode, a double tap will remove an
item from the App Switcher. I'm going off of my memory, so hopefully

Hi guys. I am considering turning off my iCloud backup for my phone and
letting my wife continue to back hers up that way since she has pictures and
such that she wants to keep but that are taking up a goodly amount of space. I
can't afford to change our plan right now, so was thinking about
When you turn off iCloud backup you will no longer be able to use the downcast

Hello DJ. Yes you need office 2007 or later. I suggest that you consider
upgrading to the latest version of office if possible.

Hi Tim,
Contact syncing would still work, but I'm pretty sure Downcast file copying
wouldn't. I would suggest that rather than turning off iCloud backup, one of
you delete your iCloud account and create a new one using a different email
address. This can and probably should be an iCloud

I am in the process of using ICloud and restoring my iphone 4 to use in a

this mean my notes and mail won't be backed up to ICloud and I'll
Andrew if you turn on Notes and Mail you will be asked to set up an
icloud.com mail address. So no you can't backup notes and mail to iCloud
unless you have an icloud.com mail address.
