Well, I changed my preferred voice to iOS US English and it sounds perfectly
fine.
I listened to several pages and heard no odd sounds, just fluid speech.
I have no idea what to suggest you try next.

then select the iOS voice and then double tap on the set preferred button?
This is assuming you are using the full version of Voice Dream and not the free
demo version.
