The front and back cover our about the thickness of a cover of a hard back
book. The keyboard is also just about to fat thickness or maybe a bit more. So
multiply those by three and add to the iPad. That is, if you are going to use
the keyboard in the case. The problem I see using the key board
I am just curious, how much bulk does it add to the mini?
The one I saw at the Apple store still kept things pretty sleek and slim.

at the Apple store here in town. The sales rep said you could not remove the
keyboard, but instead could remove the ipad of course. so maybe there is more
than one model.

not sure which logitech case you talking about, i have the Logitech Ultra Thin
Bt Keyboard cover. its totally removable. i totally love it. :)

I was wondering if anyone might have recommendations for an ipad mini with a
detachable keyboard. I saw the logitech case at the Apple store, but you cannot
remove the keyboard.
Recommendations would be appreciated. By the way this is for the original ipad
mini not the new one.
