The front and back cover our about the thickness of a cover of a hard back book. The keyboard is also just about to fat thickness or maybe a bit more. So multiply those by three and add to the iPad. That is, if you are going to use the keyboard in the case. The problem I see using the key board

Denise, this is a full portfolio case, meaning it covers the front and back. The keyboard is also leather, front and back. It does come completely from the case, is held in place by magnets so it can be used alone. The other piece has a slot for a notepad and business cards and can be used instead

Hello all, I was wondering if anyone might have recommendations for an ipad mini with a detachable keyboard. I saw the logitech case at the Apple store, but you cannot remove the keyboard. Recommendations would be appreciated. By the way this is for the original ipad mini not the new one. -- Y
