Hi, go to notification settings and find the show preview button and double
tap. You will have 3 options. Always, when unlocked, and never. You will want
the always option.

Go to settings, general, accessibility, VoiceOver, and then go all the way down
to speak notifications on or off. You can turn it off here. The sound will
still play but you will have to open your phone to view.
