Hmm. I have to admit that I have not been quite so concerned with speed
adjustment when trying to decide why Overcast might be better than Downcast.
But I am generally quite a speed addict. I'll continue to experiment with
Overcast but I honestly like downcast better with regard to the UI.

Great question. I'm about to give Overcast a try, after using Downcast
for several months. Apparently the author of Overcast wrote his own audio
engine for the app, so it handles speed adjustment, i.e. time
compression, much better than other players. Important to me as I tend to
listen to things

Even though overcast has very clear instructions on HOW to move podcast
subscriptions from downccast and it seems easy enough to do from downcast
(more/tools/export podcast subscriptions/send to application) I then cant get
this to work because overcast dows not show up in the list of applic
