If the sound is going from right to left, reverse your ear buds/phones. This
might eliminate the problem.
Also, I would be very interested to know different uses for this application.
Thinking along the lines of Orientation and mobility.

If you reverse your your earphones you do not solve the problem.
There is a correlation between the scanning direction and the camera itself.
Anyway, I'm in touch with the Dev and he's aware of the problem.
