OK, thanks. I'm using Virtuoso Opensource 6.1.2 and the corresponding Jena Provider. If I remove "count(?o)" from the SELECT it works fine. Moreover, once and exception is thrown, something seems to get corrupted till I restart the webapp that is executing this code. By corrupted I mean that each
