Thank you for the info. When I unticked the option "Reject unintended CORs"
it was working. If i enable it again i have a blank page.
What exactly this option does? is it safe to leave it as it is (unticked)?

I have set up virtuoso open source (7.20.3217) from source and set up a
sparql endpoint which works with no problem.
