Keep bugging me about this, and maybe we can ask users to voluntarily
register their use of Perl. It's not going to happen this month, though.
But it might be worth a try. Perhaps the size of the vmsperl mailing
list might give you a hint (i.e., not a whole lot compared to 1/2
million installed ba
