I've got VNC working on my network and I am excited to use it across the

I tried the debug settings in the registry but they didn't work. I

Ok - downloaded the beta version. Received error "server closed connection

That was not my experience. It wouldn't work until I made the registry

I re-read the VNC FAQ about 8 times, followed by re-reading the SOHO manual

Will it be in the linux client too?

Neville,
at the office, you are probably on an in-house net and accessing the internet via
proxy. You are likely not going to be able to use vnc between those two computers. You
might get your security and network guys to allow connections via ssh and then set up
an ssh tunnel to forward the po

I have a dsl connection with vnc server running behind a belkin
hub/firewall. I know the wan IP address which is not static. I cannot
connect to vnc server from my viewer off my home network. Does anybody know
what I should to enable access to the server?
Thanks

I don't know exactly what you mean / want, but if you disable local mouse and
keyboard to server, server machine's *monitor* will still be in sleep or whatever mode
it's supposed to be but you can get the *screen*. Try it and you'll see what I mean.

fullscreen toolbar is displayed on screen 1.
This is independent of the position of screen 2 with respect to screen 1.
That is, either

You should have the VNC icon in the system tray. Have you tried to play with
it like closing all connection, closing server down and restarting it again, take a
lot at the settings, etc ?
