You are on the right track, you need to enable the single port option
and then change the port to 80. On your firewall you will need to
forward port 80 to your home machine.

On the Server Make sure that under Options->Inputs that "Accept
Clipboard Updates" and "Send Clipboard Updates" are checked then use
the Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V just as you normally would VNC keeps the
clipboards in Sync.
I don't know how well this works for non-text stuff; but I never have
a problem
Perhaps the Java client will work?
Port 5800 on the windows machine servers a java page that can connect.
RealVNC does not have a specific Mac client afaik.

I'm not sure what you mean - the message is informational. It is simply
informing you that your password cannot be stored securely (i.e. in such a
way that other users of the same computer cannot obtain it) on the system in
question. This is true of Windows 95, 98 and Me).
