I need to access a computer that is behind a adsl modem router.
The router is configured to serve ip addresses ( DHCP ) and I do not
have access to change it's setup. I can not add a routing to re direct
port 5900 to point to the computer I want to connect to.
So the ip address on the LAN of t
I need to set RealVNC (on Windows) so it will only accept connections
from the localhost (yes, I'm tunneling, as mentinoed in 2 previous
threads). I know if I run:
vncconfig.exe --localhost=true
It will change the settings to do what I need. However this also opens

Okay, I'll ask our IT group to submit it to Red Hat, since this was seen
using RealVNC 4.1.1 with RHEL4 Gnome which we pay support for (from RH).
Note: so far, besides this warnings, it's been working great with RHEL4
and RHEL3.

Ensure that you're running the latest VNC release (from
http://www.realvnc.com/download.html) at both ends, and that vncconfig is
running in your X VNC desktop.
