I should have a straight forward installation. Here is what I have done:
--I have installed the full, free VNC on both server and viewer computers.
Running Win XP Home on both. They have all the latest patches and updates.
Firewall on both is Norton Internet Security 2006 which autoconfigured after
I ran VNC the first time.
--lacking a static IP, I have setup DynDNS to point to my router (LinkSys
model that supports DynDNS)
--I setup port forwarding on port 5900 to my destination computer, SNAUSAGE
--I am able to ping my router just fine. I do not know how to determine if
port forwarding is working correctly. This would be good to learn, if
someone would help here.
--I have attempted to establish a VNC connection between viewer/server, but
am getting connection errors. It SEEMS like my server computer, snausage,
cannot be seen. But, this is just a guess.

Can someone help me troubleshoot?
