Ctrl-c kills session in Win 2K

I'm running vncserver on an Nt 4.0 sp 5 system and vncviewer on a win 2k sytem. When I'm viewing one app (toad) on NT and do a ctrl-c to copy a highlighted line the viewer goes away. It's as if I'm sending a kill to he window. This doesn't happen all of the time. If I restart NT the problem go
