Hi,
 
Having probs at the moment....hoping you can help.
 
Setup is
 
Server machine is on a WAN, incoming connection to router
Firebox router with relevant ports forwarded for VNC
Server & Viewer machines both running XP Pro with latest version of VNC
 
When trying to connect get the error in the subject line of the message,
checking event viewer i get the following message: SocketManager: unknown
network event for listener 
 
Everything is set up correctly on the server side, password etc and I
presume the port forwarding is OK but the strange thing is Telnet on the VNC
port doesnt connect
 
Any ideas cos I'm getting to the end of my tether!
