I've found various people having this problem, but no fix as of yet...
I have a bunch of servers behind a Linksys router (BEFSR41) that I have the
proper ports open for VNC use and can connect via my outside machines.
However, I get disconnected rapidly, with the connection just dropping for
no apparent reason. I have tried both 3.3.7 and the new beta, both exhibit
the same behavior. I have installed RADMIN, a similar product to VNC, and
it works much better, with an occasional disconnect, but not often, whereas
VNC disconnects happen all the time.
Does the Java viewer work better in this type of environment perhaps?
