Righty - I'm a bit new to this!

We're running VNC 3.3.7 on a Windows 2000 Server platform. Connecting from a remote pc
to the 2K server itself doesn't present a problem, but as we follow strict security
policies, when we disconnect from the server we need to lock it, obviously using CTRL
ALT + DEL. As soon as we send the CTRL ALT + DEL command, the service stops and VNC
falls over. As there is an error displayed on the server, we need to close it before
we can restart VNC, which kind of makes VNC redundant if we have to go to the server
anyway!
I have no idea why, when we try CTRL ALT + DEL, VNC fails totally. It is the latest
version of VNC, running on 2K server service pack 3 machine.

I think time has a part to play in the failure - I can log on do my work then lock the
server fine if it's just for a few minutes, but if the work needs some time, the
service fails.
80% of the time VNC works fine, but for the 20% of the time it doesn't, no support
staff are on site, so someone has to travel in - normally at a ridiculous time of
day!!!

Any ideas why this might be happening?
