Ive found that vnc displays most if not all fonts differently. I assume
this is something to do with the fonts available to the server. Possibly
something to do with compatibility because its a cross pla
hmm, there must be something else going on. cuz im running the exact
same combo [xp, dual mons, vnc] and 3.3.4 has been just fine.
im using a matrox g400.

If i could recommend you forwarding not only the 59xx port range to the
appropriate port range, but all the 58xx port range to the same ip.
I also had a stinksys (this was very clever) router, and this was what
was required for my to connect from outside my lan.

i think what you'll have to do is run the vnc server on each computer,
but set each one to use a different port [i think this is possible]. and
then forward the appropriate port to the corresponding internal ip. im
assuming you're using some kind of router to share one ip with 5 computer.
