You could have conflicts with other programs starting up.
As a crude work around, you could put a batch file in the startup folder,
with something like path\winvnc -kill -run
That will kill and then run the server again. That would limit the
rebooting and start the server much later than than
You haven't mentioned which OS you are running on. VNC server has been
very stable for me on Win98/2K/XP. If, its an Win95 box, I have heard of
issues on them, but updating all related drivers may help, video, nic,
etc.
