Daniel,

You will want to look into www.no-ip.com. They have a free service which
allows you to map your dynamically assigned IP address to a domain name. For
example: daniel.no-ip.com. This could always point to your home router.

Next you will want to forward the ports from your Linksys to your PC. The
ports are 5800 for web viewer and 5900 for vnc server.

I have a PC that I need to connect to over the internet. I started
looking around some of the archives and didn't see anything (yet) so
maybe someone could point me in the right direction?

The PC is connected to a Linksys BEFSR41 Cable/DSL router, which is
connected to a Speedstream ADSL modem from SBC DSL. The ISP is
sbcglobal.net
