I have a remote computer a few states away that I need to remotely
access. Both server and viewer are Win2k boxes running vnc 3.3.7, with
the viewer having a public IP, straight to the internet, and the server
being behind a firewall, using the "Add New Client" feature, both
running T1s. When "Add New Client" is invoked, vncviewer stops
responding. I figured the connection was fine because it happened right
at the moment when it should have been connecting, and multiple servers
all use the exact same connection method running to the same vncviewer.
After loading a packet sniffer onto the viewer machine, and tried the
connection again, this is what the log showed...

Server -> Viewer SYN
Viewer -> Server SYN, ACK
Server -> Viewer ACK

After 15 seconds of it being hung, the Viewer did still not receive the
"RFB 003.003" message from the Server, which is why the viewer appears
frozen.

Has anybody ever seen this before?
