This is the setup:
On the server (Mandrake10.0):
[me]$ vncserver -version
Couldn't start Xvnc; trying default font path.
Please set correct fontPath in the vncserver script.
Couldn't start Xvnc process.
Xvnc version 3.3.tig
Here is the output of the viewer command
[temp]$ vncviewer xx:1
VNC server supports protocol version 3.3 (viewer 3.3)
Password:
VNC authentication succeeded
