Yes, an AM radio antenna loopstick is exactly the same as a Tesla coil: a
resonant high frequency transformer.

The reason for my interest in this contraption is scalar waves, which
are supposed to be produced by two identical EMF waves, 180 degrees out
of phase. When the Israeli Air force attacked Syria, the new Russian
antiaircraft radar system suddenly shut down. My Mossed contact refused
any comment on the matter. One can only speculate, eh?
