Well, shifted the lugod.org dkim record to a 'reject' policy tonight to see
if it helps with some issues, after getting a spoofed issue. Hopefully the
lists will still work!
For anyone thinking about getting into email server administration, my
unsolicited advice: run for the hills!

I generally agree with Bill K, though I haven't used that software he
mentions particularly; you'll want to _not_ boot off the drive you want to
wipe to be sure you catch all the data. Otherwise you risk chugging along
with the wipe until you hit something critical in the filesystem at som

What happened was that I discovered earlier today that ClamAV had
apparently been misbehaving and had tanked mail/listserv service
entirely, and for a few days, it turned out. I also actually ran an
apt update/upgrade and rebooted the server myself several hours
Hah, I'm glad it was nothing as nefarious as some weird malware or
rootkit, or as irritating/potentially expensive as an actual hardware
