am i supposed to use bot these patches? if so in what order, if it matters? patch-2.4.23-vs1.20.diff patch-2.4.23-vs1.20-q0.12.diff I ask because i have been having trouble when i try to compile using both of them in this order. and im tired so going to bed. James

Hello, Yes it was a debian tool, I just like it, I have been using it on many servers (we have more than 300 of them here) and never had a problem with the RPM db, If you want to use something else instead, by all means, go ahead, and post your adaptaion of the instructions to the wiki. James
