Hi,
i have tried to run a java program -in a guest- with
many different memory params, which consumes over 2,x
GB of RAM. The program crashes just after 2GB,
although there is still much free memory. Could this
be a vserver issue?
Thanks

Hi,
before reinstalling the host system (the guests have
remained exactly the same) there was no problem. Now,
if i create a java socket connection from one guest to
another, the guests believe that the source of the
connection is the host! Do i need to change something
in /etc/vservers/guest-name
Hi,
i haven't found a complete "vserver nfs how-to"
unfortunately... Here is my situation:
-host is named "vakhos"
-guest, where nfs is running is called "nfs"
I had a working vserver system/network, with
nfs-user-server running, but i re-installed (because
of damage) the host-system ("vakhos"). T
Hi,
has anybody had any experience with with VServer
(Debian) and Dual Core AM2 CPUs? Does it work OK?
Is it posssible -would it be possible in the future
maybe- for VServer to take advantage of the AMD CPUs
built-in virtualization technology?
Thanks
Hi,
i am trying to set-up apt-proxy on the "root server"
of my virtual network. Do i need to tweak the
iptables? In general, i think that i have to change
the iptables settings only when vserver guests need to
communicate with each other.
Thanks

Hi,
while searching i saw that by editing the following
files one can set the capabilities in Debian
/etc/vservers/vserver-name/bcapabilities
/etc/vservers/vserver-name/ccapabilities.
However, trying with CAP_SYS_ADMIN doesn't seem to
make any difference. Any advice?
Thanks

Hi,
i cannot ssh forward, through my "ipcop" guest
(10.0.0.6/24). In the host system i have made it
"visible" via "ip addr add 10.0.0.6/24 broadcast + dev
eth0".
Here's what i get when i try to run firestarter or
nedit or xterm for example:
ipcop:~# firestarter
X11 connection
