Since I need the Kernel for PPC I´ll use the kernel-source package and
compile it. util is already building, looks good :-)

btw. ubuntu ships an kernel-patch-vserver package, but this patch
doesn't apply at all.

In my case /var of the host is mounted rw,nosui,nodev ...
... maybe helps one of you, too :)
