I have a Mac Classic, a classic II and a Stylewriter 1200 ( the SW is not
working but possibly fixable) that I am giving away. First come first

Hi Michael,
I had the same trouble and managed to solve it as follows:
First you need to run the OSX software updater, as there is an update to the
installer program in OSX that you need to install before it will install
10.1.1.
