As far as I am aware, there is a Mac hotline available to all Mac
users (not available to PC users) which is full of Macintosh support
people who deal with and are familiar with Macintosh

I'm looking for a second hand colour or bw printer for an old scsi Power Mac
running 7.6.1. Laser or ink jet.
Any advice appreciated on whether or not a new printer would work with this

I went and re-read the agreement signed (clicked agree) and I would
find it hard to believe that Apple would consider the distribution of
the Developer tools disc image (without modification) as a violation of
the NDA.

ColinStuffit shareware only gives you stuffit expander whereas Stuffit Deluxe
gives you Dropstuff expander Dropstuff compression

Hi Colin (and others)
There are a few more differences to Stuffit Expander and Stuffit
Deluxe. The main ones that jump out are:-
You get a Menu
If you mean the SuperDrive I belive its Pioneer, I did note it adds $1000 to
the price of the flat screen iMac while to buy the same drive for a pc I think
was $1800.
The myth that apples are more expensive than pcs is on its way out.

I read that it is indeed the Pioneer A03 SuperDrive - $885 + GST to
anyone with a wholesale account at a PC parts dealer...

Only one about clashing extensions which I tried but to no avail. I tried
changing the 'select hard disk' in the Memory control panel from my System
disk to my Work disk (I have 4 partitions) and all seems a lot faster.
Saying that, as I am typing this email it is back to its old tricks
Next time it does it press command (apple key) option escape. Mac OS will
ask if you want to force quit whatever the application is. You may find that
there is a faceless background app or control panel trying to do something
it doesn't need to be. Should give you a clue anyway.
