I haven't been following the thread so excuse me if this has already
been suggested.
I have had similar problems on a variaty of machines. Deleting
preferences fixed the problem. monitors, date and time and all the
system preferences.
The Monitors pref fixed the problem when it occurred with Fil
Go down to Office Works & buy a Logitech for about $40. Even has Mac drivers
with it with is astonishing for something from Office Works!

Have a problem. Perhaps someone can help. I have borrowed both Rune and
Unreal Tournament. Neither one seems to allow me to use my ADB mouse. Do
modern Mac games REQUIRE a USB mouse???

I said that I would keep you informed re this irritating very slow redraw.
It is still there and slower still. I cleaned out all the dust from the card
and inside the casing in general, to no avail. It makes no difference if
there are ten windows open or none. It is still agonizingly slow
Is there a PowerBook out their who wants a nice home to a good family who

We have just been given a mac powerbook 180 for the kids to play with but
when I ran disk doctor and norton's through it their were some problems with
some missing files etc. I can't repair the hard drive unless I use a
different start up disk. Can anyone help me with some 3.5 disks to do this.
