Try putting the 0S9 CD in, restart and hold down the C key until fully
started, if it starts from the OS9 CD then you only have a software problem.
It won't take much to fix.

Does anyone know if Apple Can Replace the fans in Existing Dual 867

Tigger's beloved DV iMac (Tangerine) won't boot up :-(
We aborted an install of the 10.2 upgrade without updating the
firmware, and since then, you power it up, and after a couple of
seconds, it powers itself down again.
We have tried multiple PRAM zapping and bought a new battery

I don't know if the problem I have been having is the same but the results have
been similar. If i double click the document to open it i end up in freeze
territory but if i open word first then open the document from within the
application it has opened fine..just a suggestion who knows

For local GMUGgers and teachers I've offered for a swap with blank CDR.
Mailing and packaging would need to be extra. time would be an issue
though. I've put a mass of updaters on CDR mainly to free up disk space
on my iBook and it seems silly not to offer them around.
