Getting rid of iDisk from my desktop?

Hi all, A few months ago I signed up for a time-limited free use of .mac, to see what it was like. After this expired, I decided not to shell out the annual fee. Now I can¹t get rid of the iDisk icon on my desktop. Any ideas? Thanks in advance... Greg

Unable to download

Hi Wamuggers I have a problem as I am unable to download irrespective of which browser I am in. (Safari and IE quits and Firefox does nothing) All other internet services work fine( email browsing software update and Ichat) I have reinstalled the OSx to version 10.3.3 and updated to 10.3.7 and
