Lost Gbs

iBook G4 800MHz 30Gb 1Gb RAM 10.4 There is just the bare system and a few files on this set up but it shows only 5 gigs out of 30 available. Where could the rest of the storage capacity on the HD be? Thanks and Best wishes edward
