Peter Just make certain you don't have Connect using PPPoE checked in the PPPoE tab in Network Settings. Also check that you haven't configured a VPN in Internet Connect. Perhaps you could provide some detail about the prompt you are getting eg. what application is giving you the prompt (check

Hi, Well i managed to set up this Router Netgear WGR614 enough to surf on the Net but obviously I need more to make Mail work correctly. It currently refuses to consistently connect and collect mail, but works at times. The Manual is short on info for this , but I am guessing i may need to

Should be a no brainer with no config needed. If you can access the web you should be able to access your email. I doubt whether it's your router. What mail program are you using, what version, version of Mac OS, who is your ISP, what info have you got entered in your email client as far as pop
